With the new Game Filters finding games in your app (for game night, challenges etc) is now even more flexible, powerful and fun!
The new Games list View Options and new Sorting options on the Games list give plenty of options to customise the app to your liking.
And more!
- New filters on the Advanced filter
- Possibility to view all game property details
- Updated properties display on Game screen
New Game Filters
On the custom filter page, a lot of new filters are added! You can now filter on:
- General game data, like Designers, Artists, Publishers, etc.
- BoardGameGeek data, like Rating, Rank, Category and Mechanics.
- Community data like Recommended and Best Player counts etc., with the option to set a minimum number of votes.
You can read all about these new filters here: Custom Filter
New Games list View Options
It is now possible to pick and choose what data is show on the expanded view of the Games list!
After you’ve selected what you want to see, you can set this view as default for all your lists, or create a different set for each.
Of course the original compact view is still available.
You can read all about the list view options here: Games list view settings
New sorting options on the Games list
A lot of new sorting options are added: player counts (official, recommended, and best), weight/complexity, rating and rank.
After updating
The app will start loading all necessary data from BoardGameGeek, when you view the updated Games list for the first time. This may take a while. You can follow its progress with the progress bar at the top of the list, and view the status by tapping the header text above the list (stating how many games your list contains).
