Exporting your data from ScorePal
First you’ll have to export your data from the ScorePal app. Follow these steps:
- In ScorePal, go to Settings > Database and choose ‘Backup external‘.
- Choose a location on your device to save the backup file.
- The saved file while will be a .realm file.
Importing ScorePal data into BG Stats
Make sure your exported ScorePal file is stored on the same device as your BG Stats app. Then follow these steps:
- In BG Stats, go to Settings > Export, import and backup and tap ‘Import from ScorePal‘.
- In the following dialog, select your ScorePal .realm file. If you can’t select the file, rename it so it does not contain any spaces.
- Wait a moment for the file to be processed.
- The import matching screen will appear, so you can match the ScorePal games, players and locations to the ones in BG Stats. If you don’t have any information in BG Stats yet, you can continue without manually matching anything.
More information about this matching screen can be found here: Import plays (Matching) screen. - If you’re done matching, tap ‘Import’ to finish the import process.
You can always repeat the import process. Existing plays will be updated so no duplicates are created.
